The FC Tucson Youth Talent Program (YTP) is an 8–10 week developmental academy designed to introduce young athletes to the game, strengthen foundational skills, and create a positive, structured environment for growth.This program operates exclusively on the Northwest side of Tucson at Naranja Park in Oro Valley, serving families in Oro Valley, Marana, and surrounding communities.

The YTP provides a welcoming entry point into the FC Tucson player pathway. Players learn through guided instruction, small‑sided games, movement education, and confidence‑building activities led by licensed coaches.We use a cited, professionally developed curriculum created by FC Tucson staff to ensure consistent development and to prepare players for future competitive‑level soccer. Coaches follow a structured weekly progression so families know exactly what their players are learning and how they are growing.

All families must create a PlayMetrics player profile before registering. This profile includes a brief player‑placement survey covering age, experience level, and comfort with the game. It helps our staff place each child appropriately and ensures they receive the right level of instruction.YTP is ideal for:

• New players experiencing soccer for the first time
• Developing players seeking structured growth
• Families wanting a positive, community‑focused environment
• Athletes preparing for future competitive soccer

Training Days: Tuesday & Thursday 

Training Time: 5:30–6:45 PM

This schedule blends technical development, small‑sided gameplay.

Every week, players participate in a Saturday Gameday Experience at Brandi Fenton Park or the near by George Mehl Park. These structured small‑sided matches allow players to compete against all teams within the FC Tucson Youth system, giving players exposure to a wider variety of opponents and playing styles.Gamedays help players:

• Apply weekly training in real match situations
• Build confidence and decision‑making skills
• Experience a fun, competitive environment designed for their age
• Prepare for future competitive soccer through real‑game repetition

All Saturday games take place exclusively at Brandi Fenton Park or George Mehl Park.

Season Sessions & Registration

Each YTP session runs 8–10 weeks, offering consistent development, structured progression, and a clear pathway into FC Tucson’s long‑term player development model.

Before selecting a session, families must create a PlayMetrics player profile. This profile includes a short skill‑level and experience survey that helps us place your child correctly.
